Castro Marks Military Appreciation Month
Washington, D.C.—Congressman Joaquin Castro (TX), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and First Vice Chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, released the following statement marking National Military Appreciation Month:
“San Antonio, cities across Texas, and our entire nation thrive because of the United States Armed Forces and their families that invest in them. As a representative of Military City USA, I thank our men and women in uniform and their families that support them for defending America’s freedoms at home and abroad. Our servicemembers put their lives on the line in service of the United States and make our country and world a better, safer place. We must never forget to extend our thanks in every way we can, including marking May as National Military Appreciation Month.”
