FY2027 Appropriations Requests
Congressman Joaquin Castro’s FY 2027 Appropriations Forms are now open. There are two separate forms for programmatic requests and community project funding requests.
The deadline to submit requests for both forms is Friday, March 6, 2026, at Noon CST.
PROGRAMMATIC APPROPRIATIONS REQUEST
Each year, Members of Congress have an opportunity to submit funding priorities to the U.S. House Committee on Appropriations. This is an important way that Members can advocate for programs critical to the nation, their constituents, and their states.
Please fill out this form to submit your FY 2027 Programmatic, Bill Language, or Report Language appropriations requests to the Office of Congressman Joaquin Castro. To the fullest extent possible, please provide detailed information regarding the location of your request in the subcommittee bill or report, down to the activity or account level (if applicable).

COMMUNITY PROJECT FUNDING REQUEST
Congressman Joaquin Castro is accepting Community Project Funding requests for Fiscal Year 2027. The Community Project Funding process allows Members of Congress to fund specific projects for state, local or tribal governmental grantees and certain eligible non-profits. Eligible non-profit organizations and local government entities are strongly encouraged to apply for this important source of federal funding.
