Chairman Castro to Hold Foreign Affairs Subcommittee Hearing on Modernizing International Development Assistance
WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, December 7 at 2:00 PM, Chairman Joaquin Castro (TX-20) will convene a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Development, International Organizations, and Global Corporate Social Impact on “Modernizing International Development Assistance: Opportunities and Challenges.”

Mr. Kerr is a former Foreign Service Officer who served three overseas tours as a career member of the foreign service. His organization, the Unlock Aid coalition, works to explore issues of aid effectiveness and maximize the value of public resources to solve the world’s most challenging problems.

Senior Fellow, Center for Global Development
Mr. Yadav is an expert on the issue of healthcare supply chains and has worked with a range of bilateral and multilateral donors on international development and humanitarian response. He will speak to the efficacy of existing aid approaches.
- Former Representative Ted Yoho
Consensus for Development Reform
Representative Yoho served on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and was the Republican lead on the passage of the BUILD Act of 2018, which created the U.S. Development Finance Corporation.
