The Edgewood Class of '67 hosted a very moving Memorial Day ceremony this morning.
Thank you to the 5th grade students and teachers at Kirkpatrick Elementary in Texas for a great conversation today. It was a lot of fun talking to such smart young people about their bright futures and my work as a member of Congress.

Congratulations to Duo Xu of Clark High School, winner of this year's Congressional Art Competition for the 20th District. And thank you to all the other talented San Antonio students who submitted their artwork as well. Duo's winning piece will hang in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
Thanks to the extraordinary students at Travis Early College High School for having me this morning. Was great to speak with such bright, motivated young people.

I’m always working to get federal dollars to San Antonio so great organizations like the Food Bank can help make our city even better.
Great to see so many San Antonians at today's march to honor the life and legacy of César Chávez.
