Today the Foreign Affairs Committee held a hearing on the Ex-Im Bank, an agency that keeps American products and companies globally competitive. In Texas, Ex-Im assists 880 small businesses, 127 minority-owned businesses, and 58 women-owned businesses. The Bank’s charter expired earlier this year, and we’re already seeing impacts in Texas.
It was wonderful to speak with thousands of service-oriented individuals from across the country at Points of Light’s National Conference on Volunteering and Service.
