Strengthening U.S.-Germany ties

Germany has been a valuable and reliable ally to the United States as we’ve sought to make the world a safer, freer place. The strength of our partnership will help our nations as we address the ongoing refugee crisis and work to dismantle terrorist networks. I was glad to join Germany’s Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière and the American Council on Germany for a discussion about these pressing issues.
